Sunday School

 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, 

rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2nd Timothy 2:15

The Sunday School is the foundational Strategy in the local church for leading people to Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and for building Great Commission Christians through Bible Study Groups that engage people in. 

1. Evangelism
2. Discipleship
3. Fellowship
4. Ministry
5. Worship

It has been said that Sunday School is the Church structuring itself to carry out the Great Commission in the local community.  By definition, the Sunday School is the Church,

showing it’s compassion by reaching out to people.

Proclaiming it’s message by engaging it’s members and prospects in life changing Bible Study.  Fulfilling it’s commission by winning people to Christ and Church membership.

In addition, expressing it’s nature by involving it’s members in the life and work of the church.  Because of these unique interrelationships the Sunday school has essentially the same reasons for existence, the same sense of mission, the same essential message, the same basis responsibilities, the same priority goals, and the same motivational interests as the church. The church school therefore is the whole church.
